Siska Schoeters playing football

Radio presenter Siska Schoeters playing football for a bet with  football journalist and commentator Filip Joos.

Catherine Van Eylen

Catherine is one of the only female sports journalists in Belgium, which is sad. Most of the time (I can better say, always) she is a sports anchor on the Flemish public broadcasting channel VRT. Since 2005 she presents the sports part of the news on Eén.
She studied Germanic philology. During her studies she started working on Radio Donna, where she presented Donna Serra and Primadonna de Luxe. When she graduated she became an announcer on FilmNet and a news anchor on the commercial channel VTM. Van Eylen returned to VRT in 1998 where she worked on the Radio 1 sports departement.
In 2004 Sporza (the sports channel of VRT) was launched, so she started to present sports programs there.

She is also known for her lack of fashion sense. You will see that on the pictures I will post of her.

Siska Schoeters

Siska  works for the most popular youth radio station in Belgium, Studio Brussel. Although she is not a sports presenter or reporter, I put her here because she is my favourite of all Belgian presenters :)

She studied Radio at RITS, the artistic departement of Erasmushogeschool Brussel. During her time at college she started to present 'De Afrekening' on Studio Brussel. In 2007 she became the new sidekick of her boyfriend and also radiopresenter Tomas De Soete in his program. Since 2008 Schoeters has got her own program 'Zet 'm op Siska'.

Siska also makes radio during the Music For Life event, every year 3 radiopresenters from StuBru lock themselves up for 4 days in what they call "The House of Glass" without food, only juices, to collect money for charity. In 2010 she wasn't a presenter in the House, but a reporter instead because she was pregnant of her first child.
